The vision for Big Five Brews started all the way back in 2013 when our founder went on a study abroad program in South Africa. His group stayed at the Bongani Mountain Lodge right next to Kruger National Park. This is where he was able to see the Big Five in person and where his love for conservation and protecting these amazing creatures was born. When he got back to the States a dream of running a business that would help create awareness and contribute financially to make a difference for the Big Five and all exotic wildlife in Africa was born. Mix that with his passion for coffee and voila, Big Five Brews was created! Specialty coffee and looking for the most unique and flavorful roasts always was intriguing. And we are so grateful that we now get to create premium blends and single origin coffees using the highest quality beans from the greatest coffee growing regions in the world.
